"I have been a patient of Dr Lalin for 7 years, and the experience has been medically above my expectations. Dr Lalin is a person who understands the anxiety of his patients and never fails to explain his procedures and the reasons for them. Dr Lalin’s staff is always professional and very helpful. I feel very lucky to have found a doctor so experienced and reassuring as Dr Lalin." - Eleanor
"As a patient of Dr. Sean Lalin for six years, it is indeed a privilege to refer to him not only as a physician but also as someone who is committed to giving the best possible care to us who rely on him for our eyesight. He is always ready to answer any questions about our conditions in a way we can understand and is always available when an emergency is needed. His assistants and office staff are courteous and ready to help you in any way they can. The atmosphere in the waiting room is pleasant and comfortable - plus there is excellent coffee everyone enjoys. Dr. Lalin is recognized as the best in his field and we are fortunate to have his knowledge in our area." - Mussette
"Where to begin….I’ve been a very satisfied patient of Dr. Lalin for about 6 years, with very good results. Let me try to give you some detail….Diagnosed with Macular Degeneration, first in one eye then in both, my usual treatment experience begins with one of his many assistants checking my vision, dilating my pupil with drops, and taking pictures of the inside of my eyes with a fancy machine. Dr. Lalin reviews the findings, compares them with my last visit and only if necessary, he then treats me further with an injection into the eye that needs help. Despite his busy practice, with loads of waiting patients in the office, he always takes the time to talk to me and answer any questions I might have about my treatments or my progress. I’ve not found many doctors who offer that kind of patience with his patients.
In the beginning, he used to use Avastin, then Lusentis and more recently with Eylea, all are covered by Medicare. He injects a shot into the white part of one eye or the other (or both when necessary) approximately every 6 weeks. The Eylia works very well and seems to last longer. My initial fear of a “Shot in the Eye” was quickly lost in his capable and gentle hands as he begins with a numbing shot and follows some minutes later by the drug, It really does not hurt at all. His free coffee is good, his assistants are compassionate and knowledgeable and all of them make our visits a fun hour or so. At the end, my wearing some dark sun glasses in the bright sunshine, and my wife needing to drive me home are the only after effects and the rest of the effects usually dissipate in another hour or so. I can watch TV or read with no problems in about 2-3 hours, when I get home. What more can I say…Dr. Lalin is a great doctor and he keeps me from going blind. That’s no small testimonial." - Don
