"I Can See Like I Am 18 Again"
Amazing. I can see like I am 18 again. I had no idea how badly cataracts had impacted my vision. I only knew something was wrong. Based on his excellent reputation, I called Dr. Lalin. He replaced the affected lenses in both eyes. I was able to continue working with almost no downtime and very little discomfort. Thank you Dr. Lalin.
View on GoogleI was seen by Dr Shaw yesterday for a routine eye exam. She is an unbelievable optometrist. My visit was extremely thorough, comprehensive and informative. She spent an enormous amount of time with me. Her assistant Caroline was exceptional. My experience was incredible. I unequivocally recommend her and will continue to see her going forward. 5 stars plus!

Types of Eye Conditions
Retinal Detachment
Retinal detachment is a very serious condition that can threaten your vision, and it should be treated as an emergency. Symptoms include a sudden increase in the number of floaters you observe or a heavy feeling in the eye. Early diagnosis at either our Hackettstown or Morristown practice is important to increase your chances of successful treatment.
Retinal & Macular Conditions
There are a number of eye conditions that affect the retina and macula, including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration (including age-related macular degeneration), macular holes, central serous retinopathy, cystoid macular edema, and more. We can diagnose these eye diseases for patients at our Hackettstown and Morristown, NJ, offices, and discuss your treatment options.
Dry Eye
Occasional dry eyes are a normal concern that can result from seasonal allergies and certain medications. Chronic dry eye, however, can cause serious discomfort and impair your vision. Before recommending treatment for this common condition, our ophthalmologist or optometrist will first determine the cause of your dryness.
Glaucoma
Glaucoma is a progressive condition often characterized by a buildup of pressure within the eye, specifically on the optic nerve. Left untreated, glaucoma can permanently damage the optic nerve, and even cause blindness.
Pterygium
These benign growths occur on the white portion of the eye and are usually caused by prolonged exposure to sun, dust, and dry conditions. Although pterygium is not considered a serious health condition, it can cause discomfort. Your ophthalmologist may recommend drops or surgery.
Cataracts
Cataracts are a buildup of proteins that cloud the clear lens at the front of your eye, eventually causing blurred vision, vision loss, and blindness. Dr. Lalin offers all-laser cataract surgery to restore your vision, which makes treatment faster, safer, and more precise than traditional surgery.
Refractive Errors
Refractive errors such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism can seriously affect your vision, making it difficult to see near objects, distant objects, and objects at all distances. These optical shops offer prescription glasses, sunglasses, and sports goggles, along with designer brands.
Ready to See Clearly?
Eye conditions may seem scary, but are often treatable with early intervention. The blindness that results from eye conditions can often be prevented with surgical and non-surgical techniques that manage or resolve your eye condition. Start the process of monitoring your eye health by calling to request a consultation at our Morristown or Hackettstown offices:
